I finally broke down and made my first Etsy purchase. I know! After all the lovely little things I’ve featured here, all the lovely little things I’ve hankered after… I can’t believe it took me this long. In BC, we’re all getting $100 rebate cheques as part of our government’s climate action policy. So I’ve spent mine on the most beautiful tote bag that I can lug to the shops, to the library, on vacation… and never need another plastic bag again.

Apart from the fact that the tote is HUGE (I mean, I can fit my laptop, my notebook and pens, my glasses, my SIGG, a novel… and more) it also has a handy-dandy magazine pocket…

 

 

and an ipod/cellphone pocket.

 

 

I go on record as saying I toted the bag around with me constantly the last few days and no matter how much, or how little, I put in it, the handles never once slipped off my shoulders. That’s major.
